Jesus Christ, It’s Russia!

Voiced by Amazon Polly

Corporate Democrats have a new ally in the fight against ‘Russian Meddling in US elections’; Dick Cheney. Yes, that is right, rightwing George Bush VP, advocate of so called ‘advanced interrogation tactics’ (torture), the Iraq War, and the NSA spying on its own citizens.

This week however, this reached a new level, with numerous Democratic Party members calling it an ‘act of war’.

Democrats pushing the false narrative is ironic, given that supposed ‘Election meddling’ was the very thing that exposed the DNC’s smear campaign against Bernie Sanders, collusion with the corporate media, and evidence of the DNC rigging the entire election against Sanders. It is also stupid, given the only evidence that could lead to a new cold war is unproven confirmation statements from the CIA.

States with no paper trails for ballots favored Hillary Clinton (64%- 35%), while states with paper trails favored Sanders (51-49%).  In addition, exit poll data varied widely, mostly favoring Sanders, compared to unverified machine counts favoring Clinton. In DNC primaries, Sanders vote totals were lower by about 7%, but ranged as high as 11.6% in New York, and 14% in Alabama. Compare this to Republican primaries, where exit poll discrepancies averaged out to 2.7% for Trump, and 2.8% against Trump. [1]

Indeed, the failure of machines to correctly count votes and likelihood of hacks and attacks is so prevalent that in 2005, the Federal Constitutional Court of Germany ruled the use of voting computers in the 2005 Bundestag election unconstitutional. Since then, Germany now uses hand-counted ballots, counted in front of actual people. [2]

Indeed, while Democrats (and Republicans) push Russia Election Meddling as the reason for Clinton’s loss, they seem to forget how their own party rigged the election, something the media also ignored, while now writing daily pieces on election fraud by the Russians.

It is simply a deflection of attention away from the issue of our democracy’s death, to ‘ooh Russia, ooh Russia’. It’s a cheap way to reassure the people that nothing’s wrong with the political system, that we should all stay loyal to the US, and that the US should increase tensions between it and Russia.

This is of course, ignoring the recent WikiLeaks release dubbed ‘Vault 7’, detailing extensive CIA cyber weapons technology capable of hacking into cars, TV sets, phones, and computers.[3] As written on WikiLeaks’ official website accompanying the release,

“Marble is used to hamper forensic investigators and anti-virus companies from attributing viruses, trojans and hacking attacks to the CIA. Marble does this by hiding (“obfuscating”) text fragments used in CIA malware from visual inspection. This is the digital equivalent of a specialized CIA tool to place covers over the English language text on U.S. produced weapons systems before giving them to insurgents secretly backed by the CIA.”[3] In effect, the CIA has the ability to blame a cyber-attack on another developer.

What’s common evidence put up by corporate media to ‘show’ hacking?

  • 1) The US government publicly announced in October that it was “confident” Russia orchestrated the hacking of the Democratic National Committee and other political organizations of the Democratic Party.
  • 2) The CIA concluding that Russia acted to help Trump win.
  • 3) The CIA’s new conclusion was based on its latest and most complete analysis of intelligence on the hacking, including the finding that Russian hackers breached GOP individuals and organizations prior to the election,[5]

(4)   The U.S. intelligence community laid out its judgment that “Vladimir Putin ordered an influence campaign in 2016 aimed at the US presidential election,” [6]

Any evidence to show that there was Russian meddling is simply blank, unverified claims from the ‘intelligence’ community. Wonder why they won’t declassify the official intelligence reports, even in a so-called ‘democratic society’ that claims to be the world standard for freedom, truth, and open-ness?

Given the shady things, the ‘intelligence’ community has been involved in though, it’s difficult to trust them. The CIA, FBI…etc. have frequently done immoral and unethical things. These include Operation Mockingbird, where the CIA would employ journalists to report on events in a way favoring the US, and bribes were even used to pay off some journalists to directly feed propaganda to the US. As former CIA director William Colby said, “The Central Intelligence Agency owns everyone of any significance in the major media.” [7]

Recent WikiLeaks documents and releases show that

1). The media colluded with the DNC, further showing links between government and media.

2). The election was rigged to stop one insurgent anti-corporatist Bernie Sanders from winning.

3). The CIA has the capability to monitor any citizen through hacking of cars and trucks, phones, computers and webcams, and in an extreme 1984 parallel, through the ‘telescreens’ where we receive our daily government propaganda and sensationalist ads that distract us from the real issues at hand: uprising.[12]

“Heavy physical work, the care of home and children, petty quarrels with neighbours, films, football, beer, and above all, gambling, filled up the horizon of their minds. To keep them in control was not difficult. A few agents of the Thought Police moved always among them, spreading false rumours and marking down and eliminating the few individuals who were judged capable of becoming dangerous” –George Orwell, 1984

Given these recent leaks exposing even more attempts to monitor and influence the American public, it is reasonable to deduce that CIA’s operations continue to this day. [3][4][8][9][10][11]

Now, back to the main point. What does this have to do at all with supposed Russian interference? Everything. When confronted, Inner Party corporatists can only put forth CIA and government claims of meddling. This quickly evaporates when you realize that the CIA, main peddlers of this red scare operate with no oversight, and with complete control of the media. This new false push of the New Red Scare is false and yet another move to brainwash the American people, and a cheap deflection from the actual issues that the CIA doesn’t want you to focus on or care about. The very idea that Russia somehow influenced our election comes into question when we consider the CIA’s true cyberwarfare capabilities. Look deeper into this issue and it presents itself as a scary glimpse into the real workings of the US government.
